The low-down on which earrings will suit you

Did you know that your face shape is likely to have a strong bearing on which earrings suit you best?  Well, we at Crave have put together some golden rules to help you select which earrings will complement your face shape the most.

Oval Face
Wider cheekbones, which narrow down to the jaw line and chin.

Consider yourself very lucky if you have an oval face, like Charlize Theron or Cameron Diaz, for you can take your pick when it comes to earrings...from simple stud earrings to hoop earrings...as you are likely to suit any style of earrings!

Long Face
Similar to an oval face, but with high cheekbones and forehead.

If you, like Terri Hatcher or Gwyneth Paltrow, have a long face, then you will suit extra large chandelier earrings with lots of volume and could add an extra touch by choosing earrings with a combination of round and square shapes such as our Arrosa Earrings, Lucerna Earrings and Hoola Earrings.

Round Face
A round forehead and chin, and wide, full cheeks.

Celebrities with round faces include the likes of Kate Winslet and Drew Barrymore,  If you share their face shape , opting for big earrings will bring balance to the shape of the round face. Square Face
Equally wide at the forehead, cheeks and jawline.

Heart-Shaped Face
Also referred to as the ‘triangle shape’ - broader at the forehead, tapering to a small, narrow chin.

Lovely heart-shaped faces share their faceshape with Paris Hilton or Naomi Campbell. Earrings that are wider at the bottom than the top will add width to the face and are especially good for this face shape.
